Arquitecto Claudio Marcelo Rodriguez Sanchez finaliza sus estudios en el año 2009, en la Facultad de Arquitectura de la Universidad de la República (UDELAR). En junio de 2006 gana un concurso promovido por la Red ALFA, la Universidad de México, hace entrega de un Diploma de Honor por dicho evento. El Proyecto Final presentado como tesis es un Rascacielo para la ciudad de Dubai.
The shelter situated at the Diario Lagoon is called Place to Rest. It is built with three diferent material, wood, metal and glass. Place to Rest, has interior wood, in wich you could read, see the birds at the lagoon or just stay in peace. If you see the shelter from the lagoon or from the woods, you see a brilliant metal box, the idea is to contrast the shelter with the natural environment around it. The metal surface is able to save energy from the sun in the day and use it in the night. Place to Rest, is gentle with the place, if you change your location your shelter has the possibilty to move with you.
In a wonderful place called Lussich Woods, is located the shelter “The Nest“. The idea came from the hornero bird nest. Nest shelter is made of natural materials; wooden walls, thatch for the roof, and recycled glass for the windows. The shelter is located on a small stone lot; around it, the trees grow freely, and the sun light passes through the trees and reaches the shelter interior, in which you could rest and stay in peace.
En un lugar maravilloso llamado El Bosque de Lussich, se encuentra el refugio “El Nido“. La idea provino del nido del ave hornero. El refugio está diseñado con materiales naturales, paredes de madera, paja para el techo, y vidrio reciclado para las ventanas. El refugio se ubica sobre una pequeña área de piedra, en cuyo alrededor, los árboles crecen libremente, y la luz solar pasa a través de estos y llega al interior de la vivienda, en la que se puede descansar y permanecer en paz.
Partimos de la idea primitiva de refugio, donde el mismo tenía la función de brindar protección frente a los fenómenos naturales. Desde el comienzo de la humanidad la población fue cambiando sus hábitos y su relación con el medio ambiente, pasaron gradualmente del nomadismo al sedentarismo. La población nómada se desplazaba en el territorio en busca de recursos naturales que satisfacían sus necesidades de consumo y luego volvían a desplazarse a otra parte en busca de lo mismo.
Hoy 90 % de la población vive en asentamientos urbanos mega densificados, consumen cada vez mayor cantidad de agua, tierra y recursos de todo tipo. En la actualidad se presentan pequeños grupos que llevan adelante actividades como de investigación científica, actividades turísticas y de recreación que buscan asentarse transitoriamente en medios naturales. Este segmento de población no cuenta con los recursos suficientes para llevar dichas actividades sin afectar el medio ambiente.
La propuesta parte de la idea de generar posibilidades para el asentamiento de este tipo de población nómada. La misma consiste en el grado de adaptación a las diferentes situaciones geográficas no adversas con el mínimo impacto ambiental posible. Se propone una vivienda básica auto contenida y autosuficiente que se asienta sobre el terreno sin necesidad de modificar el mismo.
La vivienda se posa sobre el terreno por medio de un sistema hidráulico. Dicho sistema esta compuesto por una serie de apoyos telescopios de acción hidráulica que se adaptan de manera automática a la situación del terreno.
Terminada dicha fase, la vivienda auto contenida se despliega en si misma para conformar todas las habitaciones. Se propone un cerramiento conformado por capas de polímeros al cual se le inyecta aire para rigidizarlo y conferirle un espesor de aire atrapado entre capas que mejoran el comportamiento térmico de la vivienda en su conjunto. Mediante este dispositivo se definen los sectores de dormitorio y de estar.
Se complementa la vivienda con la integración de un sistema de paneles fotovoltaicos ubicados en la cubierta que le aseguran un suministro básico de energía para el funcionamiento de los elementos eléctricos definidos por el usuario.
Pose 2 núcleos rígidos, uno definido por un kitchenette y otro definido por un toillet básico. Se plantea la recuperación del agua de lluvia para la utilización de la misma dentro de la vivienda, para lo cual se plantea un sistema de tanques de almacenamiento. Por otra parte un sistema de tanques químicos intercambiables para el deshecho de aguas servidas.
We begin with the primitive idea of refuge, where it had the function of offering protection from natural phenomena. From the beginning of humanity, the population has been changing its habits and it relationship with environment, passing gradually from nomadism to a sedentary way of life. Nomadic population moved in the territory in search of natural resources that satisfied their consumption needs, and then they returned to move to another part in search of the same.
Nowadays, 90% (ninety percent) of the population live in urban settlements with a very high population density, consume every time greater amount of water, land and all kind of resources. At the present time there are small groups that take ahead activities like scientific research, tourist and recreation activities, which try to establish transitorily in natural environments. This segment of population does not count with enough resources to take ahead these activities without affecting environment.
The proposal comes from the idea of generating possibilities for the establishment of this kind of nomadic population. It consists in the degree of adaptation to the different not adverse geographic situations with the minimum possible environmental impact. It is a basic house, self-contained and self-sufficient that is based on the land with no need to modify it.
The house lays down on the land by means of an hydraulic system. This system is made of a series of hydraulic action telescopic supports which adapt to the land situation in an automatic way.
Finished this stage, the self-contained house unfolds in itself to give place to all the rooms. It is proposed a closing composed by polymer layers to which air is injected to make it harder and to give it an air thickness between the layers. These layers improve the thermal behaviour of the house as a whole. By means of this device, bedroom and living-room are defined.
The house is complemented with the integration of a photovoltaic panel system located on the cover, which assures a basic energy supply for the operation of the electric elements defined by the user.
It has two rigid nuclei, one of them defined by a kitchenette and the other one by a basic toilet. The recovery of rainwater for using it within the house is considered, for which a system of storage tanks is proposed. Apart from it, an interchangeable chemical tanks system to dispose dirty water.
Se propone un núcleo rígido que alberga las instalaciones sanitarias y eléctricas, entorno al mismo se desarrolla la vivienda, separando el área destinada a las actividades diurnas de las actividades nocturnas. La construcción se realiza mediante paneles modulados de madera, utilizándose pino y O.S.B, el revestimiento del interior es de O.S.B, sustituyéndose este en las aéreas húmedas por placa cementicia, el revestimiento exterior se realiza con tabla de pino tratada en CCA, disponiéndose la misma en forma de siding. Para la cubierta se emplean paneles multicapa tipo ISOPANEL.
